We take precautions to protect the security of your information. We have physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to help safeguard, prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use your information. GDPR adds some new requirements regarding how companies should protect individuals’ personal data that they collect and process. It also raises the stakes for compliance by increasing enforcement and imposing greater fines for breaches. Beyond these facts, it’s simply the right thing to do. At AutoBRIDGE, we strongly believe that your data privacy is very important, and we already have solid security and privacy practices in place that go beyond the requirements of this new regulation.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on our website and within our services. These technologies allow us to personalize content, remember login details, and provide functionality that enhances your interaction with our platform. By using our Service, you consent to the use of these technologies as outlined below.
Types of Cookies and Tracking Technologies We Use
Cookies: Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device that help us remember settings such as language preference and login information. Essential cookies are necessary for site functionality, while non-essential cookies, such as those for analytics or personalization, help us improve user experience. Most web browsers allow you to control cookie settings, and you can choose to disable non-essential cookies if preferred. However, please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
Local Storage: Also known as DOM storage, local storage enables us to store client-side data with a higher capacity and persistence than cookies. This storage method helps us remember your preferences and enhance user experience across sessions. Unlike cookies, local storage data does not expire automatically.
Sessions: Session data is used to track areas of our website you have visited and to provide a seamless experience by remembering where you left off. Session data is temporary and expires once you close your browser.
Managing Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through settings. You may choose to disable non-essential cookies at any time by adjusting your browser’s settings. However, doing so may affect some of the website’s functionality and may require repeated logins for certain features. Note that we do not place personally identifiable information in cookies or tracking technologies.
We prioritize your privacy and ensure that all tracking technologies are implemented in compliance with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CalOPPA, providing transparency and control over your data.
Any data that relates to an identifiable or identified individual. GDPR covers a broad spectrum of information that could be used on its own, or in combination with other pieces of information, to identify a person. Personal data extends beyond a person’s name or email address. Some examples include financial information, political opinions, genetic data, biometric data, IP addresses, physical addresses, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. The Data Protection Principles include requirements such as:
- Personal data collected must be processed in a fair, legal, and transparent way and should only be used in a way that a person would reasonably expect.
- Personal data should only be collected to fulfill a specific purpose, and it should only be used for that purpose. Organizations must specify why they need the personal data when they collect it.
- Personal data should no longer be necessary to fulfill its purpose.
- People covered by the GDPR have the right to access their own personal data. They can also request a copy of their data be updated, deleted, restricted, or moved to another organization.
Bridge Works Software is committed to supporting the principles of data protection and privacy rights, including those reflected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
Personal data processed in connection with the Service is handled using reputable service providers that apply appropriate data protection and security measures in accordance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.
Information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to support legitimate business operations, comply with legal or regulatory requirements, or resolve disputes. Where an account is deleted, associated personal data is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions and is not retained beyond reasonable operational timeframes.
Where required by applicable data protection laws, users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with their account. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable legal obligations and technical feasibility.
If you have questions regarding data protection, privacy rights, or the handling of personal information, our support team is available to assist.
